Service Training

The Thompson Tractor Tech Center has a staff of 5 Caterpillar, MCFA, and Crown certified technical instructors to provide training on Caterpillar earthmoving machines, engines, and MCFA and Crown material handling equipment. Training classes are customized to fit your technicians’ specific needs, and class length varies. The training may cover such functions as preventive maintenance, walk-around inspection, systems operations, and diagnostic testing procedures. Classes can be scheduled and conducted at the Technical Training Center in Birmingham, any Thompson branch location or at customer sites.
